Olha Kashshai

Olha Kashshai is a Ukrainian artist born in Uzhhorod in 1983. She graduated from the Transcarpathian Art Institute in 2011 and has been a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 2017. Kashshai continues the traditions of the Transcarpathian school of painting while developing her own expressive and emotionally charged style.

Working primarily in oil on canvas, Olha Kashshai creates vibrant and textured floral compositions, landscapes, and still lifes. She actively participates in national and international exhibitions, plein airs, and symposiums, which contribute to the development of her creative style. Her works have received prestigious awards, including being a laureate of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine in 2017 and receiving the Tetiana Yablonska Award medal in 2024.

Olha Kashshai's artworks are held in museums and private collections both in Ukraine and abroad. She strives to convey atmosphere and mood through her paintings, using a rich palette and expressive brushstrokes to create works that are vibrant and emotionally profound.
